I am having problems with my stoma
If you are having problems with your stoma please contact the colorectal nursing team. If you are experiencing abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, passing blood, feeling generally unwell or are concerned about your general health please contact your GP or out of hours service.
What is a “keyworker”?
A “key worker” is a member of the multidisciplinary team who is your named contact within the team and takes a key role in coordinating your care and treatment. Your “key worker” can be any member of the team but is usually the Clinical Nurse Specialist.

I am having problems with my central line

I am experiencing a high temperature and/or feeling unwell whilst I am on my chemotherapy or receiving radiotherapy
If you are undergoing chemotherapy then you need to ring the Durnell Unit on (01902) 694045, if it is out of hours then Deansley ward (01902) 694012. If you are undergoing radiotherapy and feeling unwell – if it is normal working hours you need to contact the radiotherapy on the number that you were given at the beginning of your treatment, or your consultant’s secretary, Dr King on (01902) 695203. If it is out of hours, your GP or urgent and emergency care centre.
