About Our Service
RPA and MPE Advice
It is a requirement to seek the consultation of an RPA before any work is to commence using ionising radiation. Dental services and veterinary practices seek the advice of an RPA for their radiation protection requirements which may include room protection, staff dose monitoring, and quality control testing. The Medical Physics Expert (MPE) can also advise on, and assist in the development of work procedures, local rules, and quality assurance testing. |

Quality Control (QC) Testing
Our QC team consists of qualified Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists who test customers existing X-ray and imaging systems and provide reports on what tests have been performed, and any recommended actions that are required. Our tests are based on the recommendations published by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM). All work is carried out using equipment that has traceable calibrations to the national standard. |
