| Clinical Engineering Established for over 30 years and part of the Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Department we are based in The Deanesly Centre of New Cross Hospital. We have approximately 48 staff providing clinical support services to all Wolverhampton hospital and community services sites and we are well respected for the quality of our services. We also fully manage and support the clinical Service of Bone Densitometry. Members of our staff also Chair and Co –Chair the Medical Devices Group for the Trust. Our department holds a number of contracts with clinical users, both within the NHS and in the private sector. Cooperation and liaison with these users is given a very high priority by us to ensure the provision of services meet all our users requirements. We are staffed by highly qualified, well-motivated staff. The knowledge and experience offered is wide and varied and our team of qualified technologists can commission, repair, test and calibrate a broad range of medical device types, makes and models. |
